Major General (Ret.) Tsoku Khumalo
Maj Gen (Ret) Tsoku Khumalo is a former uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) combatant, trained in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) as a fighter pilot. In 1994 he integrated into the South African Air Force as a Captain. He served in the SAAF for almost 20 years and served in various capacities. He left the SAAF in the rank of Major General in 2013.
He went through all Military Development and Defence Management Training Programmes (from Junior Officer to General Staff of the Executive National Security Programme – ENSP). This includes:
He also attended a course with IODSA on Corporate Governance and Board Effectiveness.
In 2004 he was part of the team that drafted South African Air Force (SAAF) Strategy, Vision 2012. He then became the Chairperson of the Joint Africa Aerospace and Defence Expo 2012 and Chaired the SADC Chiefs of Air Forces Joint Meeting in Lusaka, Zambia.
He currently sits on the Board of Mayibuye Transport Corporation, based in East London since 2019 and serves on two committees – Operations and Engineering, and Audit and Risk.

Phillip Mulungo
Phillip has a diverse academic background. He has studied Mechanical Engineering, Entrepreneurship, Business Leadership and Management and Computer Engineering. Phillip is, an alumnus of Unisa School of Business Leadership, University of Pretoria, and Stellenbosch University Business School Executive Development.
He is an experienced businessman and entrepreneur and was formerly involved in Umsobomvu Youth Fund/National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) part of the 2010 FIFA World Cup activities in Mpumalanga, Mbombela NAFCOC among others. He has extensive international business development experience and is an active director of companies across a number of sectors including: Energy, technology, farming and property development.
