It is based in the Western Cape Province of South Africa, with its primary production facility located near Wellington. It makes use of alien invasive species which are harvested to enhance the flow of water in riparian zones.
Forestry – EWC
EGH through one of its subsidiaries owns 600ha of land in the Eastern Cape for forestry purposes. The group intends to be a leader in the supply of metallurgical quality charcoal. The forestry operations thus allow the business to be long term sustainable in terms of feedstock for the charcoal.
